Job summary

Rockford Fosgate, a customer-focused audio solutions provider, seeks a Compliance & Import / Export Specialist to manage international trade compliance, import/export operations, and global logistics coordination in Tempe, AZ. Responsibilities include HTS classification, ISF/CTPAT, and handling UETA documentation with carriers and brokers.

The role emphasizes data analysis, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to CBP, EAR, ITAR awareness and hazardous materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Global Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
• 2+ years of import/export operations, trade compliance, or global logistics.

Responsibilities

• Perform HTS classification and Schedule B coding for accurate declarations.
• Monitor tariff changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Manage CBP requirements including ISF and CTPAT program compliance.
• Analyze FTAs/USMCA to reduce duties and optimize landed cost.
• Prepare and review import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, AES).
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers, drayage, and 3PLs.
• Track shipments and manage exception handling to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop SOPs and internal controls to improve compliance.
