Qualifications

• 5+ years in trade compliance or global trade.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. regulations, classification systems, and FTZ operations.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global trade compliance strategy, policies, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulations (Customs, EAR, ITAR, OFAC).
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert and advisor to leadership.
• Oversee import/export classifications (HTS, ECCN), documentation, and audits.
• Manage denied party screening and export controls.
• Lead Free Trade Zone (FTZ) operations in Rockford, IL.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and train a high-performing compliance team.
