Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in global trade compliance or export controls.
• Experience supporting technology, software, cloud, or SaaS organizations.
• Leadership or management experience, including leading teams or programs.
• Hands-on experience with import and export compliance and classifications.
• Strong knowledge of ECCN, HTS, EAR, and U.S. export regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage import and export compliance programs across global operations.
• Oversee export classification determinations (ECCN) for software, tech, hardware.
• Manage import/classifications (HTS) and related requirements.
• Provide guidance on EAR, licensing, and country-specific controls.
• Lead cross-border initiatives involving software, source code, tech, and cloud services.
• Develop and implement trade compliance policies, procedures, and training.
• Lead teams and cross-functional projects, providing direction on complex matters.
• Partner with legal, product, engineering, supply chain, and procurement teams.
• Identify risks, conduct assessments, and drive remediation and improvements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate impact to leadership.
