Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks an experienced program leader to design and manage end-to-end customs trade programs, including CTPAT, AEO, Dangerous Goods, and sustainability initiatives, across global sites.

You will partner with Regulatory, IT, and Logistics teams to deploy AI-powered tools, governance models, and trainings, while overseeing audits, certifications, and regulatory filings with CBP and other bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain/related field required or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred for advanced analytics and governance
• Certified Licensed Customs Broker preferred to support CBP interactions
• Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (DGR) required or preferred
• Additional certifications (PMP, CUSECO) are a plus for program leadership

Responsibilities

• Design and lead end-to-end program management for customs trade program initiatives (Supply Chain Security, Sustainability, Dangerous Goods)
• Drive CTPAT and AEO certifications; support global sites in securing certifications
• Serve as primary liaison with CBP and regulatory bodies; manage audits and escalations
• Scale and automate the Global Dangerous Goods program across business units
• Evaluate and deploy AI-powered tools to streamline trade program workflows
• Integrate sustainability requirements into supply chain operations and ESG goals
• Institute governance models; participate in industry associations to benchmark value
• Conduct risk assessments and audits; remediate vulnerabilities across programs
• Monitor regulatory developments and adapt programs to stay in good standing
• Develop internal control programs and readiness for regulatory inquiries
• Partner with IT and data teams to build AI/ML dashboards surfacing trends and risk
• Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to ensure adherence

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field

Master's degree

Certified Licensed Customs Broker (preferred)

Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (DGR)

Additional certifications in trade programs, sustainability, or program management (e.g., PMP, CUSECO) are a plus
