Tate Inc. is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager to own import/export compliance for its liquid cooling business, reporting to the Global Director of Procurement and Supply Chain.

This role can be remote or hybrid for the Columbia, MD area, working with Legal and Finance to ensure compliant and optimized landed costs. Candidates should bring 7–12+ years in trade compliance, strong HTS and tariff experience, and a track record of building a program from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Law, Finance, or related field.
• 7–12+ years of experience in trade compliance, including owning a corporate import program.
• Deep experience with Section 232 and Section 301, including derivative coverage and country-of-melt reporting.

Responsabilités

• Own HTS classification for liquid cooling BOM with written rationale.
• Own customs valuation including intercompany transfer pricing and post-import adjustments.
• Establish and enforce COO determination and substantiation with supplier origin declarations.
• Manage Tate’s customs brokers with instructions and error tracking.
• Maintain tariff exposure model by part and supplier across multiple sections.
• Lead IOR structure including broker models and origin analyses.
• Classify products under Export Administration Regulations and manage license requirements.
• Write and maintain the trade compliance manual and post-entry audit program.
