Job summary

Tate Inc. is seeking a Global Inbound Logistics Manager to own material movements into Tate’s liquid cooling manufacturing network. You will convert inbound networks to Tate-controlled terms, establish a freight forwarder structure, and drive landed cost accountability across domestic and international lanes.

The role partners with Trade Compliance, drives cost efficiencies, and ensures compliance. Remote or hybrid within the Columbia, MD area with global travel as needed.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, etc.).
• > 7–12+ years in international/domestic logistics, incl. inbound freight for manufacturing.
• > Experience converting supplier-managed freight to buyer-controlled terms with quantified results.
• > Working fluency in Incoterms 2020 and practical implications.
• > Experience managing freight forwarders, brokers, NVOCCs, and domestic carriers.
• > Knowledge of inbound manufacturing supply chains and multi-site operations.
• > Ability to travel globally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conversion of supplier-controlled inbound freight to EXW and FCA terms.
• Build and maintain a global supplier routing guide by lane and carrier.
• Establish routing compliance with measurement and chargeback mechanisms.
• Own relationships with primary global freight forwarder and domestic carriers.
• Run rate benchmarking and quarterly business reviews against metrics.
• Design and operate international inbound lanes for global production.
• Define inbound material flow into all U.S. plants and dock scheduling.
• Partner with plant operations on dock scheduling and receiving windows.
• Manage special handling inbound requirements and packaging programs.
• Build inbound landed cost model with freight, duty, and insurance.
