Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Specialist in Charlotte, NC, with remote work flexibility. This pivotal role will establish the import processes, ensure compliance with international trade policies, and lead tactical import operations across the organization.

Responsibilities include daily import entry leadership, data collection for dashboards, auditing declarations, and overseeing duty recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline with 5 years of related experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of related experience; without degree 9 years experience.
• Ability to learn and utilize several application tools including SAP/GTS, SharePoint, Office 365, Smartsheet and Access.
• Must be a U.S. Person / Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily tactical import entry processes and import initiatives across Interiors Sites with full Customs compliance.
• Drive collection of import data and analysis for monthly dashboard metrics.
• Perform import declaration auditing and oversee refund tracking.
• Assist Import team and Manager on projects, duties, and strategic activities.
• Stay up to date on geopolitical trade events, tariffs, anti-dumping and countervailing duties.
