Job summary

Customs rules. You will liaison with regulators, freight providers, and internal stakeholders, drive process improvements, and lead training initiatives to elevate compliance and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 8+ years in import/export compliance.
• Strong knowledge of EAR, ITAR, and U.S. Customs regulations.
• Experience leading international trade compliance programs and logistics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong project management and continuous improvement experience.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead all import and export compliance activities across the aerospace division.
• Ensure compliance with EAR, ITAR, U.S. Customs and other applicable regulations.
• Manage import/export operations, including filings, broker coordination, licensing, and submissions.
• Conduct compliance reviews, end-user screenings, and risk assessments.
• Support audits, investigations, and regulatory reviews.
• Partner with regulatory agencies and external partners.
• Drive trade automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and deliver import/export compliance training.
