Placements24 is sourcing an International Trade & Compliance Specialist for the East London, Eastern Cape region. The role focuses on ensuring activities comply with global regulations, sanctions regimes, and company policies.

The ideal candidate has extensive exposure to import/export procedures, risk assessments, and training delivery for teams. A Bachelor's in a related field and professional certifications are highly valued.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international trade, customs compliance, or a related field.
• Proven knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and trade laws.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CI.T.P.) are a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and maintain international trade compliance programs.
• Ensure adherence to customs regulations, import/export controls and sanctions globally.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments of trade operations to identify compliance gaps.
• Provide guidance on trade laws, tariffs and free trade agreements to departments.
• Oversee documentation, liaising with authorities and external bodies.
