Job summary

URBN Global Trade & Compliance offers an International Customs Compliance Intern role for the summer at our Philadelphia Home Office. You will support global compliance operations and assist with trade classification and customs across our brands.

As part of the Summer Internship Program, you will engage in intern-focused events, interact with senior leaders, and have the opportunity to interview for a full-time position. Program runs 6/7–8/13. Applications close 5:00 PM EST on October 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Foundational trade concepts: Incoterms, customs entry processes, or import/export regulations.
• Data analytics proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data filtering); Power BI, SQL, or Tableau a plus.
• Attention to detail with high data accuracy.
• Clear communication across cross-functional teams and partners.
• Proactive problem solving and initiative to research regulatory topics.

Responsibilities

• Introductory Classification: Learn HS code classification principles for everyday products under guidance.
• Export Documentation Support: Review export documents for accuracy before shipment.
• Data Verification & Scrubbing: Cross-reference product master data with customs requirements.
• Trade Data Analytics & Reporting: Use Excel/BI to track metrics and compliance.
• Regulatory Tracking & Research: Monitor tariff shifts and regulatory updates; present summaries.
