Job summary

Cabinetworks Group seeks a Compliance Director to lead enterprise-wide compliance, including supplier oversight and trade compliance. You will drive policy development, audits, and risk mitigation while promoting ethical practices across 20 locations.

The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and requires strategic leadership, regulatory expertise, and the ability to travel internationally as needed (5–10 weeks yearly).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a compliance role, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership position, ideally within a manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the trade compliance strategies and programs to ensure organizational compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
• Oversee the development and revision of company policies and procedures to remain aligned with changing laws and regulations
• Conduct and oversee regular internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage and coordinate compliance activities with suppliers and departments across Cabinetworks to ensure integration of compliance practices
• Lead, train, and mentor the compliance team to effectively execute day-to-day activities and support professional development
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory bodies, managing any audits or investigations, and overseeing the resolution of compliance issues
• Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance activities and incidents to senior management and relevant committees
• Stay abreast of industry developments and adjust compliance strategies accordingly
• Foster a company-wide culture of compliance and ethical behavior through effective communication, training, and proactive management practices
