Job summary

Tradewin is seeking a Trade Analyst/Consultant to perform HTS classification, Schedule B classification, and research customs rulings. This in-office role involves direct client communications and collaboration with internal teams.

Candidates should have an associate or bachelor’s degree, strong Excel/data skills (Power BI/Access/SharePoint a plus), and excellent verbal and written communication; brokerage licensing interest encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in obtaining Brokerage License if not held.
• Comfort reviewing, analyzing, and manipulating data in Excel; Power BI, MS Access, or SharePoint experience desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clear documentation.
• Investigative and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Render HTS classifications for imported products.
• Classify exported products under Schedule B.
• Research Customs rulings for HTS classification determinations.
• Consult with clients using reference sources like HTSUS and Explanatory Notes.
• Communicate with domestic and international client offices.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Perform other trade-related activities as assigned.
