Job summary

Tokyo Electron is seeking an Import/Export Analyst II for a 12-month, full-time contract. The role sits in a hybrid model with three onsite days weekly and requires coordination across engineering and materials teams to ensure ECCN/ITAR classifications and license processes are handled accurately.

Under supervision, you will track license applications, screen orders, respond to notices, and maintain records in BIS systems while improving internal controls and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze import/export data and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Interpret and apply trade compliance guidelines with moderate supervision.
• Effective communication to collaborate internally and with external agencies.
• Initiative to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Proficient in trade compliance software and tracking systems.
• Knowledge of US Customs import regulations, EAR, ITAR, ADD/CVD and allied programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tracking license applications through BIS systems (like SNAPR).
• Screen export orders against restricted/denied party lists and maintain records.
• Coordinate with engineering and materials teams to verify classifications globally.
• Ensure export shipments have correct ECCN or ITAR classifications.
• Follow and help improve internal import/export compliance controls and procedures.
• Respond to CF28/CF29 notices and assist in submitting classification requests.
• Support export license applications and record-keeping requirements.
• Classify imported goods using HTS and support origin determinations.
