Job summary

Spin Master is seeking a project management professional to drive global toys and games development from concept through production, coordinating design, marketing, engineering, quality and packaging.

This 12-month contract in New York requires on-site presence one day per week and experience in CPG environments; you will manage schedules, risks, and cross-functional teams to deliver launches on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Professional project management experience, preferably within a CPG, toy, or durable goods environment.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing, plastics, materials, tooling, or engineering costs.
• Proficiency using scheduling and workflow tools to track end-to-end development.
• Experience documenting new development processes that integrate digital technologies with physical lifecycles.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex data into executive-ready presentations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project plans with cross-functional teams, defining tasks, milestones, resources, and dates.
• Coordinate across global teams to align development with brand strategy and manufacturing timelines.
• Manage development programs against time, cost, and quality benchmarks.
• Use verification techniques to monitor changes in scope, schedule, and costs.
• Track performance metrics with standardized systems and reporting tools.
• Identify and mitigate project-level risks and bottlenecks.
• Partner with global operations to preempt delays and implement recovery plans.
• Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as needed.
• Deliver concise status updates and roadmaps to senior management.
• Continuously optimize PM tools and processes to improve lifecycle efficiency.
