Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Vice President of Total Rewards to lead global compensation and benefits strategy, including executive compensation, health and welfare programs, and retirement plans. The role involves governance, policy development, and board-facing materials.

Reporting to CHRO & SVP Communications, you will oversee a team of about 25 and partner with operations, finance, and law to ensure compliant, competitive Total Rewards programs across locations including

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
20+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, or a closely related function, including multiple leadership roles with increasing responsibility and scope.
Experience presenting to Compensation Committee/Board of Directors members and working with Executive Leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead Total Rewards design and execution to align with business goals.
Oversee global compensation programs, reporting and budgeting.
Prepare materials for the Compensation and Organization Development Committee of the Board of Directors.
Foster effective relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate, efficient services.
