Job summary

Hayward Holdings Inc. seeks a Tooling Manager to lead the Tooling Department in supporting injection molding and related production. You will supervise tooling staff, coordinate mold and tool designs, and drive efficiency and cost improvements across manufacturing.

You will work with planning, molding, quality, and plant management to implement robust tooling strategies and maintain state-of-the-art processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Strong supervisory leadership and training capabilities; team-oriented.
• Familiarity with mold/tool design, repair, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise tool room staff and tooling engineers; oversee hiring and training.
• Coordinate mold/tool designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Oversee tooling vendors, quotes, and repair/maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with planning, engineering, and production to optimize throughput.
