Job summary

Pfizer in Massachusetts is seeking a Lead Threat Response Operations Analyst to provide technical leadership for investigations of sophisticated cyber threats across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will coordinate incident response globally, guide analysts, and drive playbooks and threat-hunting efforts, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with Threat Detection, Digital Forensics, Security Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security or related field.
• Experience leading complex investigations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and EDR tools.

Responsibilities

• Correlate and analyse security telemetry to identify, investigate and respond to malicious activity.
• Apply knowledge of TTPs to reconstruct attack lifecycles and guide mitigation.
• Lead assessment of cyber security incidents, determine severity and response actions.
• Guide containment, eradication and remediation actions across environments.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical teams, stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate across teams to deliver timely incident response and playbooks.
