Job summary

JCB seeks an Engineering Manager for Test & Validation to lead global test, validation, certification, and compliance activities for the Access product range, ensuring world-class performance and regulatory adherence. The role will manage prototype builds, validation programs, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple sites including US, UK, India, and Brazil.

The position requires extensive AWP experience, PE registration, and 10+ years in test/validation with leadership

Qualifications

Significant experience with Aerial Work Platform (AWP) products and regulatory standards.
PE registration is required.
10+ years of experience in test, validation, or compliance engineering with leadership responsibilities.
Knowledge of global AWP regulatory standards (ANSI, CE, ISO, CSA).
Experience in prototype build processes and test facility operations.
Ability to work across multiple global sites with extensive international travel.

Responsibilities

Lead all test and validation activities for the JCB Access product line.
Develop and execute validation plans covering structural, hydraulic, electrical, control, and stability performance.
Own end-to-end validation for new products and updates to existing models.
Ensure best-practice test methodologies, documentation, and traceability across global teams.
Lead the creation and audit readiness of compliance documentation and certification packages.
Establish and grow North American test capability at the San Antonio site; recruit and mentor staff.
