Job summary

JCB is seeking an Engineering Manager for New Product Introduction Programs (NPIP) in the Access portfolio. The role leads design, validation, and program execution for next‑generation Aerial Work Platforms, coordinating across UK, India, and US teams with a relocation to San Antonio in 2027.

The candidate will drive engineering strategies, ensure regulatory compliance (ANSI, CE, ISO), and build a high‑performing NPIP team in North America. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading NPIP programs or new product development.
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPIP engineering activities for the JCB Access product line across concept, design, validation and industrialisation phases.
• Define engineering strategies, deliverables, and milestones for successful Gate progression.
• Ensure new products meet performance, safety, regulatory, cost, reliability and manufacturability targets.
• Lead integration of U.S.-based engineering to support prototyping, testing, localization and production launch.
