Job summary

JCB seeks an Engineering Manager for Test & Validation to lead global test, compliance, and validation for the Access line. This role oversees prototype builds, virtual and physical validation, and regulatory certifications across regions.

The candidate will drive stability analysis, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and establish North American test capability from San Antonio, expanding JCB’s footprint in North America.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in test, validation, or compliance engineering with leadership responsibilities.
• Significant experience with Aerial Work Platform (AWP) products, including regulatory, stability, safety, and system performance.
• PE registration is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead all test and validation activities for the JCB Access product line.
• Develop and execute complete validation plans covering structural, hydraulic, electrical, control, and stability performance.
• Own the end-to-end validation process for both new products and updates to existing models.
• Ensure best-practice test methodologies, documentation, and traceability across global test teams.
• Lead the Creation/maintenance of compliance documentation and audit readiness.
• Establish North American Test Capability (San Antonio) and recruit/mentor a local Test & Compliance team.
