Based in the US, and reporting to the Head of Global Commercial Sales, Medical Business Unit, the Tender Manager is responsible for providing best in class service and support to the global commercial organization through procedure process excellence.
The Tender Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering and contract process, from proposal development to contract execution, for international bids across multiple regions. This role ensures that the organization’s global tender submissions are compliant, competitive, and aligned with strategic business objectives. The Tender Manager role will directly support the Commercial Medical Business Unit but will work cross-functionally with regulatory, legal, finance, and other key departments to ensure accurate, timely, and commercially viable tender responses. The role is critical for supporting business growth by securing large-scale contracts through public and private tenders worldwide.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Contract Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in tender management, contracts administration, or a similar role, preferably within a global or multinational environment. Strong knowledge of tendering processes, public procurement laws, and contract management principles. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with attention to detail. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and legal data. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors is a plus.
