Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of B2B telecom sales with quota experience.
• Proven hunter with prospecting and closing ability.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• CRM and MS Office experience preferred.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a regional/global sales territory.
• Qualify and generate opportunities via calls, emails, and meetings.
• Meet with key decision makers and use consultative selling approaches.
• Position services leveraging Cogent's network footprint across buildings, carriers and data centers.
• Support sales cycle with mentorship and training in-office to drive results.
