Job summary

Hope Walks is seeking a Manager of Technology & Data to lead foundational IT infrastructure, identity and access controls, and data governance across 15 country programs. You will partner with the Fractional Technology Advisor and MSPs to build secure, scalable systems, while steering data practices and AI governance in a multi‑country nonprofit context.

The role requires strong project management, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of technology leadership/IT operations experience.
• Experience managing MSPs and evaluating service scope.
• Experience building foundational IT infrastructure from limited starting point.
• Strong project management skills and delivery on time/budget.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate tech for non-technical staff.
• Personal faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to Hope Walks mission.

Responsibilities

• Build centralized organizational identity, MFA across offices.
• Establish onboarding/offboarding procedures and device-management standards.
• Evaluate MSP engagement size and adjust as needed.
• Serve as primary MSP point of contact for scope and quality.
• Manage relationships with tech vendors and contractors; set scope, timeline, quality.
• Support staff onboarding and training on tech tools and data practices.
• Improve PATH data infrastructure data-entry quality in collaboration with DHIS2 team.
• Oversee PATH maintenance and end-user support; governance of AI use.
• Provide governance for PATH development decisions and AI integration.
• Oversee Virtuous/Salesforce fundraising integration in coordination with fundraising CRM usage.
• Apply AI governance framework when tools are adopted.
