Job summary

Hanley Energy is seeking a hands-on Technical Trainer to support its global training programme. Reporting to the Technical Training Manager, you will deliver technical and product training across regions, and develop clear training materials to support consistent learning for engineers and technicians.

The ideal candidate has an electrical background or commissioning/controls experience, thrives in a fast-paced global environment, and is willing to travel internationally to client sites and

Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or Controls Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with LV switchgear, electrical installation, or PLC/controls is advantageous for training roles.
• Training or mentoring technicians is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical and product training to employees, service teams, partners, and customers.
• Develop and update manuals, presentations, videos, and practical exercises.
• Standardise materials across global regions for consistent learning.
• Maintain training records and certification documentation.
