Job summary

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC seeks a Global Technical Marketing Expert for Pain and Internal Medicine. You will serve as the global technical authority, guiding internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies while ensuring scientific rigor and the integrity of the category.

You will partner with the GMTE function to drive pipeline product commercialization, data generation, and launch excellence, while building KOL networks and leading global communications and training for technical

Qualifications

Advanced degree in veterinary medicine or related field is required.
Experience in technical, scientific and/or R&D roles within an animal health pharma company.
Global experience in business development or commercial strategy within animal health or life sciences.
Experience collaborating with commercial, marketing, regulatory teams, and research institutions globally.
Strong track record building KOL relationships and supporting product development and launches.
Deep understanding of global animal health markets, regulations, and competitive dynamics.
Experience in medical affairs support at regional or global levels.
Proven product launch experience driving speed to market and adoption.
Ability to travel regionally and globally as required.

Responsibilities

Monitor scientific and industry trends; provide actionable business insights.
Partner with category leads on commercialization and BD opportunities.
Provide technical input and KOL feedback to DRD on strategy and lifecycle management.
Develop data generation plans to support product value propositions.
Communicate global strategy to regional technical experts and develop training materials.
Lead category strategy with stakeholders to define technical roadmap.
Identify and evaluate scientific advancements with EI and BCD; assess BD opportunities.
Lead development of technical positioning and launch messaging with marketing.
Oversee publication strategy to support product positioning.
