Job summary

Canonical is expanding its in-house legal team and seeks a rigorous lawyer with a JD or equivalent and active licence to practise. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers and vendors worldwide, provide strategic legal advice to sales teams, and collaborate with cross-functional partners in a globally distributed company.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent English drafting, organisational skills, and the willingness to travel 2-4 times per year for internal

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers and vendors.
• Provide legal support to internal clients, including Canonical's sales organisation.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives.
• Utilise Canonical's contract management system to ensure accurate data is maintained for signed contracts.
• Collaborate with local counsel across countries to seek and implement advice.
