Job summary

Avasant Research is seeking a Research Leader to manage a multi-themed technology data and research program and grow into an industry-acknowledged analyst. You will engage with senior leadership of Global 2000 companies to advise on roadmaps and strategies, and lead a diverse team to deliver multiple research products.

You will design surveys, review reports, and support sales and publicity efforts, while building an enterprise-level research practice with a strong publisher-grade output.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent from Tier 1 institutes. 8-16 years of experience in research, strategy, or consulting domains.
• Experience with Big 4 or other strategy consulting firms; prior work with leading tech industry analyst firms is a plus.
• Interest in emerging technologies and ability to analyze their impact.
• Familiarity with enterprise software, cloud, data management, security, or networking.

Responsibilities

• Represent the firm and share viewpoints on digital technologies in external conferences and media.
• Engage with senior leaders and CXOs to advise on future roadmaps and strategies.
• Develop and deliver an annual research agenda with multiple products (reports, white papers, webinars, etc.).
• Lead a growing industry analyst team while contributing substantial writing.
• Design surveys to provide data behind publications and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with sales by responding to inquiries and supporting press interactions.
