Job summary

Voya Investment Management seeks a Global Tech Analyst to join its Income & Growth team, generating high-conviction insights across global technology sectors and partnering with portfolio managers to drive idea generation and security selection.

The analyst will build and communicate investment ideas through rigorous research, develop quantitative screens, and contribute to technology-focused frameworks, covering software, semiconductors, cloud, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

7–10 years of experience in equity or credit research or related areas focused on technology sectors.
Deep understanding of technology business models, ecosystems, and valuation methodologies.
Proven ability to generate differentiated insights and investment ideas.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills; MBA/MS or CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead fundamental research coverage of global technology companies across software, hardware, semiconductors, cloud, cybersecurity, and emerging tech.
Develop detailed financial models and valuation frameworks; analyze adoption curves and macro trends.
Produce actionable investment recommendations supported by rigorous analysis.
Present theses and risk assessments to the investment committee with clarity.
Collaborate with portfolio managers to shape strategy and risk management.
