Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7-10+ years of network security experience.
• 4+ years of supervising a team of engineers and/or vendor resources.
• Strong analytical and customer service abilities.
• Experience with large-scale projects and escalation leadership.
• Experience in large global financial environments and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to coach and mentor security staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical roadmaps, policies, standards and blueprints for network environments.
• Plan technical delivery for large, complex transformation projects.
• Oversee lifecycle engineering of environments and vendor collaboration.
• Lead a team of engineers; manage training, objectives and appraisals.
• Provide governance over other teams and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead security incident handling, audits, and after-hours support as needed.
• Collaborate with IT disciplines and document key information.
• Communicate status to senior leadership on BAU security tasks.
