Job summary

Ameriprise is seeking a seasoned Security Operations leader to oversee Mainframe Database Technology Operations. You will guide incident response, engineering roadmaps, and governance across global teams, vendors, and partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
7-10+ years of network security experience.
4+ years of day-to-day oversight of a team or vendor resources.
Strong analytical and customer service abilities.
Experience improving configurations, procedures to enable greater availability.

Responsibilities

Develop technical roadmaps, policies, standards and blueprints for network environments.
Plan large, complex transformation projects and lifecycle engineering roadmaps.
Manage engineers including training, development plans and evaluations.
Collaborate with external vendors to drive fit-for-purpose security solutions.
Provide governance over other teams and drive continuous improvement.
Lead security incident response, escalations and post-incident reviews.
Participate in security audits and reviews and communicate status to leadership.
Document security configurations and changes in Confluence.
