Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise networks across campus and data centers. You will lead changes, ensure security alignment, and troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication across teams, mentoring of staff, and a focus on reliability and capacity planning within the IBM Mainframe ecosystem context. This is an in-office position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7–10 years of network design and engineering experience.
• Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and deploy network solutions for campus and data center environments.
• Lead network changes and ensure security policy alignment.
• Troubleshoot performance, capacity and security issues across networks.
• Collaborate with IT disciplines and document configurations and procedures.
• Provide life-cycle support for network deployments and upgrades.
• Mentor and coach junior network staff.
