Job summary

The Wendy’s Company in Dublin, OH is seeking a Sr Analyst – Global Technology FP&A to drive IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in close partnership with IT teams. You will support capitalization, depreciation, and capital labor analysis while ensuring accurate accounting for IT spend.

You will analyze monthly results, prepare variance explanations, and present findings to Tech Leadership. A Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting is required with 2–3 years of FP&A experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting & Finance) or Economics required.
• 2–3 years FP&A, financial analysis or accounting experience.
• Experience with FP&A processes for cloud compute spend forecasting a plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to communicate results to IT partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT finance as a department finance business partner with IT spend variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly results, analyze trends, and present to Technology Leadership Team.
• Support annual budget/quarterly forecast with capex/depreciation and IT expenditures.
• Assist with invoicing, accruals, and capitalization accounting for IT projects.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes.
