Job summary

The Wendy’s Company is seeking an Analyst for Global Technology FP&A to support IT budgeting, forecasting, and close processes in partnership with IT and accounting teams. You will prepare monthly IT financials, analyze variances, and assist with capital and expense classification under capitalization rules while coordinating with technology partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or economics.
• At least 1 year of FP&A or financial analysis experience in a large organization.
• Experience with FinOps processes for cloud compute spend forecasting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly IT financial results, including variance analyses and identification of risk & opportunities.
• Support the review and classification of IT spending and internal/external labor for proper accounting treatment according to capitalization rules.
• Coordinate with IT teams on invoicing, accruals, depreciation and capital labor analyses; prepare monthly/quarterly financial inputs and journal entries.
