Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Finance professional to join the System Optimization Finance team in Dublin, OH. You will analyze P&L statements, weekly sales, and balance sheets, developing valuation models for acquisitions and completing deal books for potential buyers.

You will lead due diligence, coordinate with buyers and sellers, and support franchise transfers with impact analysis on pro forma statements and cash flow. A CPA/MBA is preferred with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance & Accounting majors) or Economics with high academic achievement.
• Expertise in financial modeling, management reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• High attention to detail. Consistently proofs own work and displays accountability for work product.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results and communicate with cross functional business users.
• MBA or CPA preferred with 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes P&L statements, weekly sales, and balance sheets. Ensures accuracy and integrity of accounting statements in business valuations. Prepares detailed valuation models for restaurants that have been identified as company or franchisee acquisition and divestiture targets.
• Executes due diligence process for assigned acquisition/divestiture and franchise flips. Ensures all necessary due diligence items are received, reviewed, and properly filed.
• Prepares financial analysis to support the organization’s franchise to franchise transfer & financing review process. Calculate impact to pro forma financial statements, financial leverage ratios, and cash flow, while memorializing key terms.
