Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in technology communications, public relations, corporate communications, public affairs, or a related field.
• Experience working within a technology company or supporting technology clients through an agency, consulting, or corporate communications role.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing communications strategies around technology, innovation, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, software engineering, infrastructure, or related topics.
• Proven leader of high-profile media relations programs and securing impactful earned media coverage.
• Strong understanding of the technology landscape, including public policy and regulatory circumstances (e.g., related to AI, cybersecurity, privacy, and innovation).
• Experience advising senior executives and technology leadership teams on communications strategy, reputation management, and executive visibility.
• Exceptional storytelling, writing, content development, and presentation skills.
• Ability to successfully navigate complex, matrixed organizations and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience managing large-scale communications initiatives with significant reputational impact.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of building and mentoring, high-performing teams.

• Advise senior technology executives on messaging, reputation, and emerging issues.
• Coordinate with policy, legal, marketing, and corporate communications teams.
• Oversee proactive and reactive media engagement, including crisis management.
• Foster collaboration and accountability within the technology communications team.
