Job summary

ActAI is seeking a communications leader to craft how the company is introduced to the world. You will develop external narratives, work with founders, and build relationships with global media to reflect the company’s ambition.

This hands-on role involves writing, editing, pitching stories, and guiding senior leaders on communications strategy, including product launches and major milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years in PR or corporate communications within tech.
• Proven track record securing coverage in major outlets.
• Ability to explain complex AI products clearly.
• Strong relationships with technology and business journalists.
• Excellent judgement and narrative development.
• Experience advising founders and senior leadership.
• Independently manage fast-moving projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute ActAI's global communications strategy.
• Build relationships with technology, business, and mainstream media.
• Develop media angles and proactively secure high-quality press coverage.
• Write and edit press releases, announcements, company updates and executive communications.
• Shape company messaging, positioning and product narratives.
• Prepare founders and executives for media interviews, conferences and public appearances.
• Develop communication plans around product launches, partnerships and milestones.
• Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities to strengthen ActAI's brand.
• Collaborate with product, recruiting and leadership teams to align external messaging.
• Support crisis communications and reputation management when required.
