We. seeks an Account Director to serve as the AI lead for a leading global technology company.

This role shapes how the AI story shows up in the market, runs launches from start to finish, and counsels senior client stakeholders. The right candidate lives and breathes the AI space, brings relationships with tech and business media, and thrives in a highly matrixed environment, aligning product, marketing, corporate comms, and executives around one narrative.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in integrated communications or PR, ideally with technology clients
• Hands-on experience leading communications for AI or enterprise tech products
• Established relationships with top-tier tech and business media

Responsibilities

• Lead communications strategy for the client's AI business and act as the go-to strategic counselor for senior client stakeholders
• Track the AI landscape and turn it into clear recommendations and narrative positioning
• Plan and run product launches from start to finish including messaging, sequencing, media/analyst briefings, embargo management, reviewer programs, and post-launch amplification
• Drive news and storytelling around major industry moments and flagship events
• Build and maintain relationships with senior tech, business and AI reporters, analysts, newsletter writers, and podcast hosts; develop, review and pitch stories
• Navigate a matrixed client organization to align multiple product teams, marketing, comms, and executives around a single AI narrative
• Prepare executive spokespeople for interviews and speaking opportunities, supporting external visibility
