Expedia Group is seeking a Manager of Tax & Compliance Technology to lead a technical operations team responsible for tax content, tax engine administration, and compliance workflows across its global marketplace.

You will partner with Tax, Regulatory, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and frontline operations to translate regulatory and business needs into reliable operating practices while scaling a growing, complex platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical/financial field.
• 8+ years in technology operations, tax tech, or related areas.
• 3+ years of people management and capacity planning experience.
• Strong track record in resolving escalations and improving service quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a tax technology operations team and set clear goals.
• Own tax content management and tax engine administration.
• Collaborate with Tax, Regulatory, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Ops teams.
• Plan capacity, prioritize work, and manage vendor/SaaS partners.
• Establish controls, documentation, and readiness criteria for launches.
• Suggest roadmap improvements and communicate trade-offs to leaders.
