Job summary

Create Music Group, a leading music and entertainment company, seeks a strategic Vice President of Tax to lead tax strategy across global acquisitions and investments. This role partners with executive leadership to drive tax efficiency and compliance for growth.

The ideal candidate brings deep M&A tax and international planning expertise, experience in entertainment or tech, and strong communication to advise cross-functional teams on complex transactions and tax risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive tax experience with M&A and international structuring.
• Experience at a PE-backed portfolio company is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, modeling, and executive advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all tax aspects of domestic and international M&A transactions.
• Partner with M&A and legal on due diligence and structuring.
• Advise on transfer pricing and cross-border licensing.
• Develop tax-efficient structures for global expansion.
• Oversee external tax advisors and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and advise on impact to business.
• Support executive leadership with tax forecasts and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with accounting on tax reporting for acquisitions and restructurings.
• Assist in scalable tax processes, governance, and internal controls.
• Other duties as assigned.
