Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Boise. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will lead compliance, reporting, and planning across US and international tax, including ASC 740 provisions and tax returns.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax, a CPA license or equivalent, and strong communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or CPA licensure.
• 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with acquisitions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and primary review of the global tax provision (ASC 740) and related disclosures.
• Oversee federal, state, and foreign direct/indirect tax returns including GILTI, FDII, and BEAT.
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation for US and international entities.
• Collaborate with other departments and external advisors on tax planning and compliance.
• Support global tax audits and advise on tax planning opportunities.
