Job summary

Pursuit Attractions and Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a seasoned tax executive in Denver to own the global income tax provision under ASC 740 and lead tax policy across the organization.

This role partners with Finance, Legal, and Corporate Development to optimize cash tax and manage risk in a dynamic, hospitality-focused environment. With 10+ years in corporate tax or public accounting, you will drive compliance for U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive tax experience with leadership responsibility in a corporate tax function or public accounting.
• Deep ASC 740 expertise, including quarterly and annual provisions and disclosures.
• Experience with SEC tax disclosures, external audits, and Sarbanes‑Oxley controls.
• Experience evaluating tax implications of acquisitions and significant transactions.
• Global tax experience across jurisdictions; Canadian GST knowledge preferred but not required.
• Experience improving tax technology and automation to scale a tax function.

Responsibilities

• Own the quarterly and annual global income tax provision under ASC 740 and coordinate related disclosures.
• Lead preparation and review of income tax footnotes and tax-related disclosures for Form 10-K and 10-Q.
• Oversee current and deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, and valuation allowances.
• Lead tax compliance, transfer pricing studies, and intercompany pricing policies.
• Manage U.S. and Canadian indirect and non-income tax matters, including sales, use, GST/HST, and other taxes.
• Lead tax examinations, coordinate with external auditors, and support SOX controls.
• Develop tax strategies, support acquisitions diligence, structuring, and integration efforts.
• Lead the tax team and work with Finance, Legal, and Corporate Development to drive efficiency.
