Job summary

Pursuit in Denver seeks a Senior Director, Tax to own US federal, state, local and Canadian tax matters, oversee ASC 740 provisions and tax disclosures, and lead strategic tax planning for a global organization.

You will mentor the tax team, manage external advisors, and collaborate with Corporate Development, Finance and Legal on acquisitions, transfer pricing, and risk management to build a scalable, compliant tax function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• Master’s degree in Taxation or related advanced degree.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience with leadership in corporate tax or public accounting.
• Experience supporting a U.S.-parented multinational and SEC tax disclosures.
• ASC 740 expertise and knowledge of transfer pricing.

Responsibilities

• Own the quarterly and annual global income tax provision under ASC 740 and related disclosures.
• Lead preparation and review of income tax footnotes for Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Oversee tax compliance, including U.S. federal/state/local and Canadian taxes.
• Manage transfer pricing studies and intercompany pricing policy development.
• Lead tax examinations and coordinate with auditors and leadership.
