AXIS Capital is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to support tax reporting, planning, and compliance for the U.S., Canada, and Bermuda. You will work with Finance, Legal, HR and external advisors to ensure accurate tax outcomes and strong governance.

The role requires a CPA or Tax LLM with 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting or multinational settings, with ASC 740 and international tax exposure. Base salary is competitive and includes incentives.

Formación

• CPA or Tax LLM required.
• 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting or multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of US federal, state and indirect taxes.
• Familiarity with BEAT, Pillar II and other international tax concepts.
• SOX 404 requirements understood.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day tax activities for US, Canada, and Bermuda.
• Assist with quarterly GAAP/STAT tax provisions under ASC 740 and SSAP 101.
• Partner with international tax teams to align global provisions with US GAAP.
• Consolidate global tax calculations for management reporting.
• Support internal/board tax reporting and footnotes.
• Coordinate compliance across US, Canada, Bermuda regimes.
• Assist with residency certificates and FATCA documentation.
• Conduct tax research to interpret guidance.
• Respond to audits across jurisdictions.
• Maintain process docs and contribute to training.
