Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Tax Operations Leader in the EY EDGE practice to focus on US and global tax information reporting and withholding engagements across financial services. You will work in a group environment delivering complex tax operations services and coordinating with domestic and international teams.

You will lead data preparation, reporting, and client engagements while mentoring staff and driving process improvements in a hybrid client-facing role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics required.
• 8+ years of operational delivery experience ideal.
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney preferred.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to draft/design business requirements, process flow diagrams and rules matrices.
• Experience in change management, operations, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax operations team and manage data preparation, aggregation, reporting, filings, and payments for tax information reporting and transaction taxes.
• Oversee team performance, provide status updates to leadership, and ensure delivery within deadlines and budgets.
• Monitor workload, quality, and utilization; identify risks and escalate as needed.
• Establish standardized processes and coordinate training for tax operations.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation of current processes.
• Mentor and develop staff, drive efficiency, and manage client engagement risk.
