Blank Street is seeking a Global Tax Manager to own and build our tax function from the ground up. You will lead all indirect tax workstreams for the US and UK, drive process improvements, and partner with external advisors on direct tax and transfer pricing.

This in‑person role is based in our New York office and reports to the Global Controller. You will own the global tax calendar, oversee nexus and registrations, and help scale tax operations as Blank Street expands internationally,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; CPA/ACA/EA/CTA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive tax experience in multi‑entity or fast‑growth environments.
• Deep indirect tax knowledge across US multi‑state sales and use tax and UK VAT.
• Experience with direct tax & transfer pricing and managing external advisors.
• Strong research and writing to document requirements and memos.

Responsabilidades

• Lead indirect tax workstreams for US, UK, and multi‑channel sales.
• Revamp tax processes across in‑store, app, subscriptions, and e‑commerce.
• Own market-entry tax research, memos, registrations, and filings.
• Support global transfer pricing initiatives and intercompany arrangements.
• Coordinate with external advisors on direct tax filings and tax provision work.
• Prepare ancillary tax returns and studies, including R&D and capital allowances.
• Own tax calendar, deadlines, and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Product, and Digital teams on expansion planning.
