Job summary

Orbiss in Austin, TX is seeking a Tax Associate to join our Corporate Tax team. You will work on complex cross-border returns, collaborate with seniors and managers, and help clients navigate US tax obligations with integrity and reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 2–3 years international tax experience, and active US work authorization. CPA in progress is a plus. We offer competitive benefits and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of international tax experience in a CPA firm.
• Proficiency in at least one tax software.
• US work authorization required.
• CPA in progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns across diverse industries.
• Run state and local nexus analyses and apportionment calculations.
• Compute federal taxable income and identify book-to-tax differences.
• Work on international tax forms (5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 1042-S, FinCEN 114).
• Collaborate with seniors and managers on engagements.
