Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Tax Associate for our Global Executive & Private Client Group in Tax, based in New York. You will help clients analyze international tax implications, prepare Federal and State returns, and support global mobility and payroll initiatives.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, technology enablement with AI, Alteryx and Power BI, and a culture of training and mentoring. Travel and on-site client work may be required, with a strong commitment to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Tax, Accounting, Intl Business, HR, Finance.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Bilingual in English and Japanese a plus.
• Coursework in information systems, software engineering, CS or data analytics preferred.
• Able to analyze basic tax and accounting information.
• Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tax implications of international work and file Federal/State returns.
• Assist with foreign tax credits, treaties and global tax planning opportunities.
• Help set up operations in new countries and ensure compliance.
• Support executives' compensation packages and global payroll.
• Coordinate global mobility programs and technology-enabled processes.
