Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a visionary Senior Vice President, Facilities Operations to lead multi-region facilities strategy, master planning, and operations. You will manage capital and expense budgets, coordinate with regional leaders, and ensure reliability and compliance across owned and leased properties.

The role requires deep knowledge of data center infrastructure, governance, and leadership to drive sustainable, scalable growth aligned with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 15+ years of facilities or data center management experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including virtual leadership.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, maintenance, safety, and environmental codes.
• US Citizenship required by law for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-region facilities operations with strategic vision and tactical execution.
• Manage multi-million dollar capital and operating budgets.
• Oversee data center space planning, Power & Cooling, headcount, and projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards across facilities.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to meet operational targets and service levels.
