Job summary

Samtec, Inc. is seeking a senior engineering leader to helm global sustaining controls and vision engineering teams, overseeing electrical, pneumatic, machine-vision, and related software for manufacturing equipment.

You will drive projects from concept through deployment, ensuring time-to-market, safety, quality, scalability, and compliance, while collaborating with internal customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global sustaining controls and vision engineering teams in electrical hardware design, controls programming, machine vision, and software development.
• Ensure solutions meet safety, quality, compliance, repeatability, maintainability, and scalability standards.
• Prioritize projects, manage resources, and track progress for on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional teams to resolve production equipment and software issues.
• Develop and maintain team KPIs to measure impact on the business.
• Incorporate analytics and machine learning into workflows and expand the Scada system usage.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant engineering degree
