Job summary

Logitech is seeking a Supply Planning Lead for Gaming to drive strategic supply chain initiatives. You will manage capacity, balance supply and demand, and optimize inventory across regions, factories, and suppliers.

The role requires strong leadership and analytical skills to lead global S&OP efforts and improve service levels. The position is hybrid, onsite 2–3 days per week in San Jose, CA, with remote days as coordinated by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related subject area.
  • Experience with S&OP processes and consumer retail products.
  • Strong foundation in planning tools and material planning processes (Excel/Google Docs, MRP, Simulation, BOMs, Safety stock) and ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).

Responsibilities

  • Create weekly finished goods MPS plans supporting Gaming.
  • Own the WW Capacity Review process for Gaming and Lead Global Gaming S&OP.
  • Manage component buffers to respond to demand changes.
  • Drive resolution of weekly exceptions for rapid decision making and execution.
  • Apply advanced analytics to inventory planning parameters and policies.
  • Inventory projection and analysis; develop allocations plans.
  • Develop and refine tools to support business needs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and develop the global Gaming planning team.

Job description

This role will work closely with commercial teams, business group and the rest of the supply chain/factory teams to deliver on business and financial goals. Scope of activities for this role include managing the Gaming supply planning team, supply-demand balancing, development of FG & component safety stock strategies, planning and executing product phase in/out strategies, exception management etc. The supply planning function is responsible for meeting service level goals, minimizing inventory and expedited shipping. The Supply planning lead will work closely with regions, product groups, factories and suppliers.

In this role you will:

  • Develop allocations plans to optimize constrained availability against prioritized demands
  • Develop and refine tools for ongoing support of business
  • Active participation in continuous improvement efforts
  • Development of global Gaming planning team
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related subject area with 7-10 years of global work experience
  • Experienced participation in S&OP processes
  • Experience in consumer retail products
  • Should have a basic foundation of planning tools and material planning processes [Excel/Google docs, MRP, Simulation, Product BOMs, Safety stock theory, inventory management], ERP experience [Oracle or SAP].
  • Preferred - experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response Planning System; Tableau Reporting and working knowledge of SQL and cloud based database systems like AWS / Snowflake.
  • Ability to analyze trade-offs between inventory, air freight, capacity, etc. and make informed decisions/ recommendations.
  • Demonstrated decision making ability in face of uncertain or incomplete information
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, with a positive proactive attitude and a high degree of initiative
  • Good understanding of supply chain planning processes
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Location:

This is a hybrid position. The successful candidate is expected to work onsite at our San Jose, CA office 2–3 days per week, with the remaining days remote. Specific onsite days will be coordinated with your manager and team.

Compensation:

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 150,000 and $ 205000, depending on location and experience.
